The Director General of the Bureau of Small Scale Systems of Renewable Energy and Electricity Productivity of Iran announced the construction and guaranteed purchase rate of 6,000 solar power plants to support households in deprived areas of the country.
Jafar Mohammad Nejad Sigaroudi said: “Thousands of solar power plants will be built and put into operation in the next five years to support families living in deprived areas of the country and prioritize in these areas.”
Mohammad Nejad Sigaroudi added that the plan to build these types of power plants will be carried out by providing special banking facilities at a rate of 2 % for covered families or rural families.
He said about how to transfer and finance the project: In order to finance this issue, it was planned to allocate $ 6 trillion from Note 2 of the Budget of the Year and Export, National, Nation, Sepah and Commerce Banks in coordination with the bank. Centrals as operating banks, borrowing facilities at a 5 % interest rate and a seven -year repayment of 2 million USD, which will be paid to families in coordination with support agencies.
Mohammad Nejad Sigaroudi noted: In order to fulfill this, the Ministry of Energy and Satba with the applicant and providing facilities, the energy generated at a rate of 2 USD per kWh will be purchased from energy producers.
He said: “Since the tariff for electricity is an attractive tariff and households will have an average of between $ 5,000 and $ 5,000 for 5 years without financial participation, we are expected to welcome this project.”
Asked whether the tariff can be revised in the coming years, Mohammad Nejad said: “According to the formula for the computing of these five -year contracts, rates based on inflation in the years of years.
